Heavy Equipment Focus

My father came home from spending some time in a coal mine years ago.  As he was describing the size of the bucket, I could feel the excitement coming from him as to how cool of a piece of equipment this was.  The bucket was about as big as his house.

With that type of equipment, the parts get damaged and we here at Rumford Industrial group have the know-how to get you back up and running in short order.

Here are some of the parts that we can fix:

  • Shafts
  • Hydraulic Rams
  • Keyways
  • Spline Drives
  • Bearing Housings
  • Pin and Bush Housings
  • Bearing Surfaces
  • Water-Lubricated Bearings
  • Flanged Couplings
  • Tapered Couplings
  • Flexible Couplings

I’ve attached a video that shows you how to reseat a pin bush housing using Belzona 1111 (Super Metal).  We’ll be happy to come teach your maintenance team how to perform these other repairs.

Remember, when you use the Belzona materials you don’t get any heat distortion from welding and because our materials are 100% solids with no VOC’s, there is no shrinkage so you have a true fit.  You can cast with this stuff too.

Tell us, how can we help you repair, protect and improve your machinery and equipment?
